1)AVGfree edition: a reputable virus protection program.

2)Spybot search and destroy: an excellent spyware removal program.

Some free advice on Internet connection troubleshooting:

1)Turn off your Modem for 5 seconds and turn it back on.
2)Check that all cables are properly connected.
3) If 1 & 2 don't help call your internet service provider to make sure your account is in order from their end.
